The straight road to a good deal
Sell your machines quickly and easily
Get in touch
A sale through Maskinera always starts with you getting in touch with one of our knowledgeable machinery brokers. You can do this in several ways - register via the expression of interest or contact us directly by phone, text, email. The broker and you will agree on a time when you can look at the object(s) together.
The machine broker comes by
During the visit, the broker will go through the item(s) you want to sell. The broker will note any damage or defects in consultation with you and then take photographs. You will agree on a reserve price.
Let the bidding begin!
The broker writes a description of the object. The ad is then uploaded to your "my objects" page where you either approve it directly or provide feedback with any changes. Once you have approved the ad, the auction goes live. Bidding lasts for 7 or 14 days, depending on your preference. You can easily follow active auctions under "my pending auctions".
The auction is closed
An invoice will be sent to the buyer at the end of the auction. If the reserve price is not reached, we will enter into negotiations with you and the highest bidder to try to conclude the deal together.
The buyer picks up the machine
Once we have received payment from the buyer, we will put the buyer in touch with you so that you can arrange a time for collection. The buyer has 14 days to pick up the machine from the invoice date. At the time of pick-up, a delivery receipt must be signed by both the buyer and the seller.

Questions & Answers about selling on machines
What does it cost to sell on Maskinera?
Maskinera charges a commission share for completed business. If the item is not sold, no commission is paid.
How do I check that the person collecting the item is the buyer?
The Machine's delivery process is very secure and smooth. Once the item has been paid for, a unique code is generated for the buyer, which he or she gives to you upon delivery. You enter this code in the field found via the link in the email you received from us. If the buyer enters an incorrect code, you will be notified immediately. Once the correct code has been registered, we know that the item has been collected and that the correct person has collected the item.
Do I get paid before the buyer picks up the item?
The buyer of an item does not receive pick-up instructions until the item is paid to us. Payment to the seller is made on the 7th working day of the following month or by arrangement.
What do I do when I sell a registered vehicle?
At the time of collection, the buyer and seller fill in Part 2 of the registration certificate together. The seller then sends the completed part to the Swedish Transport Agency.
Can I sell my machine to someone else if the auction has started?
No. If the auction has begun, the seller may not advertise the item on another marketplace or sell it in any other way. You can find more about the terms of sale here.
