The power plant is built on a frame without a built-in fuel tank. The engine is a 4-cylinder Ford Industrimotor 2712E and the generator is a brushless Stamford of 40 kVA. The automatic control system is made by Deep Sea Electronic.
The output of the generator is equipped with a maximum switch of 63 A. The switch is equipped with a tripping magnet.
Oil pressure and water temperature are monitored. Should the machine overheat or suffer from low oil pressure, the load is disconnected and the engine stops immediately.
The automatic system has display of the following values:
- Cooling water temperature
- Oil pressure
- Phase voltage
- Main voltage
- Load currents in all phases
- Total load in kVA
